Catch Frustrating Lawn Problems Early with These Tips
Got grass issues?
Your lawn needs just a little bit of extra care to stay green and healthy in spring, summer, and fall in Michigan.
Now and then, check that it has enough water. Poke a screwdriver or tent stake in the dirt. If it goes in easy, you’re fine. If the soil is hard and dry, give it some water. Compacted soil doesn’t absorb water well. If you notice that you’re wearing a path in your lawn, loosen up the soil and give your grass a chance to grow deeper roots. It’s not common in most residential areas, but if you’re in a wet area, you might have fungi that can damage the plant life.
